Robbie has been hanging out at MCC last week, while here we got him to set 6 routes on out Main Wall and Triple Overhang from 6a to a massive 8b. Then he took us through his lecture ‘Life on the Wall’ to a eager audience.
“Climbing fulfilled all of my dreams! I wanted to travel, see the world, walk a path less trodden and challenge myself not to be bound by the constraints of ordinary life, but to be able to take on any obstacle that was set out in front of me.”
Robbie Phillips, Scottish Climber, Public Speaker and Adventure Writer, took us through his Life on the Wall last Friday. It was great to see so many people interested in this young climbers adventures and Robbie was answering questions until the early hours.
“I think it was the longest series of questions after a talk I’ve ever had! Even had folk messaging me afterwards thanking me for the talk and asking more questions. You guys have got a really cool scene down there!”
If you missed it then don’t fret, Robbie can be found all over the UK telling more people about his adventure. Check out his page and blog at: http://www.robbiephillips.co.uk/
