Rocks Cafe

caferock_clip_image002 This is the place to be when you’re not hanging out on the walls in the North West’s premiere indoor climbing centre. Enjoy a steaming latte and hot panini as you watch the action from the best viewing gallery in town.

Set on the mezzanine the café offers the best view of the climbing action but don’t forget to look at what else is around. The breathtaking architecture of St Benedict’s church. Built in the last quarter of the nineteenth century by Alderman John Bennett and designed by Mr J S Crowther, the church is a grade 2 listed building and has an unusual Italianate style of the kind often found in the centre of Bologna . Check out the roof and the huge stained glass windows at each end. Quite a place to have lunch!

Rocks Cafe staff are on hand for a hot tea or cake to keep you going after climbing!

We have a large range of confectionary, cakes and hot snacks as well as speciality coffees, teas and cold drinks. If you’re here to watch the kids, why not bring your laptop and take advantage of our WiFi availability and get an hours work in over lunch.

We also offer a catering option for birthday groups and on site corporate events. For the Kids, after they have scaled a few walls and swung on a rope they can get together for a buffet of snacks, drinks and even a birthday cake.
