This course is designed for people who are comfortable with belaying and climbing indoors, and want to develop their skills to climbing outdoors. The aim of this course is to enable new climbers to safely set up secure belays at the top of a crag from which to safely top rope. The course covers elements such as:
Safe rigging of a top rope
Understand basic ropework and knots
Improve climbing technique
Introduction to equipment and its uses
Understanding and interpreting guidebooks
This course will be run with a maximum of 6 people, and a minimum of 3. Insufficient uptake may result in the course being cancelled.

Course Cost: £120.00. Over 14’s only, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult who is taking part in the course.
