John is our Managing Director. Drawing on a lifetime at the cutting edge of British climbing, and recognising the need for a climbing centre in Manchester, he opened MCC in 2005.
John is now working on the development of our second climbing centre in Harrogate, in his old stamping ground of North Yorkshire.
When not at one of the two centres, John can usually be found out on the crags, climbing something hard!

Exciting changes are happening to our kids club. We’re adopting a new structure for our kids club and a new way of booking. Courses now last for 6 weeks and give you the chance to complete Level ONe or Two of the NICAS scheme.
Courses cost either
£55 for a one off payment
