Ian Fenton – Technical Advisor

Ian has had a long and varied career in the climbing world. After a stint as a building society manager he decided the outdoors was for him, and he now holds an MIC qualification and is a provider of SPA, CWA and REC First Aid courses. He has a wealth of instructing experience with a wide range of clients.

Ian is also chair of the BMC’s Training and Youth Committee, and is on the BMC Expert Witness Register.

Ian is responsible for overseeing the development of courses, staff training and the procedures we use to look after our customers, staff and equipment.

raise money for Children of Chernobyl, by abseiling of Bolton’s towering Threlfall chimney on Salop St. Bolton.
