Work Experience
Due to the high levels of interest we receive for work experience we are unable to accept people on work experience that do not fulfil the criteria below.
Criteria:
- 16 years or older,
Plus one of these:
- Proof of a keen interest in climbing (through NICAS, climbing clubs or competitions, etc)
- Or, currently working towards College or University Outdoor Courses (BTEC, NVQ, Degree, etc)
- Or, working towards SPA, CWA or CWLA qualifications

Casual Employment
We always interested to hear from Casual Hours Climbing Instructors to inspire and motivate our customers. Primarily for weekend work and some afternoons/evenings during the week. Instructors must be flexible and priority will be given to Instructors who can work on the weekend.
The role involves helping people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels develop their confidence through climbing; and promoting a safe climbing environment for experienced and novice climbers alike. You will also be expected to man the reception area; greeting customers, data entry and other basic admin.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills, relevant personal climbing experience (lead climber), experience of teaching others and up to date knowledge of current climbing best practice. SPA/CWA and First Aid is desirable, however training will be available to the right candidates.
